Privacy Policy
Yoga Barn - Kampot are dedicated to keeping your details private. Any information, we collect in relation to you, is kept strictly secured. We do not pass on, sell or swap any of your personal details with anyone. Personal information is only collected with your consent when you provide it to us. This includes your name and email you submitted so that you could receive communication from us on the subject of health and learning. Emails include delivery of specific digital information you have requested. Fulfilment of your requested order may include related follow-up communication or informational updates.
Deposits* and Payments
A minimum non refundable deposit of 20% of the total cost of your retreat is required to secure your booking. As such, only this payment (deposit) will reserve a place on your retreat. We prefer that our guests pay the remainder of their payment in cash (USD or REIL) upon arrival. If you use any other form of payment you may incur fees. Any outstanding payments must be paid in full at the time of check out.
The following payment methods are available:

Cash: We prefer all payments to be made in cash in either Cambodian Riel (KHR) or US Dollar (USD).

International Bank Transfer - contact us to receive our IBAN & BIC/SWIFT information. This service may incur a 3% fee.

PayPal - we are happy to accept payment in foreign currency however any international transfer fees or charges may not be deducted from the final amount. These fees are an additional charge that the transferor/customer is responsible for paying.

Credit Card - payment by all major Credit Cards are accepted. Payment by Credit Card incurs a maximum of 3% Credit Card fee.

Bank Transfer - if you have a British bank account we can accept a transfer at no charge.
Prices and Currency Rates
The prices promoted on the website are in American Dollars and thus they are the amount to be paid. Any costs incurred for exchange rate conversion etc. is to be paid by the guest. Yoga Barn - Kampot accepts payments in foreign currency however we will not pay any charges or fees the guests incurs for the transfer. Upon request we can quote your retreat costs in £POUNDS, $USD, €EURO, $AUD or any other recognisable foreign currency based upon the exchange rate on that day as calculated by global currency site www.xe.com
In the unlikely event of a refund being made to a guest, Yoga Barn - Kampot will deduct the original fees for any transactions or conversions.
Rescheduling by the guest
If you find that you are unable to attend (for any reason) your retreat on the dates for which you have enrolled, you may transfer, without penalty, to another retreat. The rescheduled retreat must be of equal value. If the value of the rescheduled retreat is higher then the guest must pay the difference. If the rescheduled retreat is of a lower value then a refund for the differing amount will be made to the guest at the start of the retreat.
You may reschedule your retreat with only 7 days notice prior to the original start date of your retreat. However, if you want to reschedule your retreat with less than 7 days notice before the start of your retreat, you will be liable for a cancellation fee. You must give your new date at the time (or as close to) of the request for rescheduling so that we can check availability. Please also note that the rescheduled date must be within 12 months of the original retreat date. After 12 months the option to reschedule will expire and no refunds or transfers will be available.
Rescheduling by Yoga Barn - Kampot
Yoga Barn - Kampot has the right to reschedule or cancel any event if we feel it necessary and in the best interest for both parties. If this is decided, we will notifying you via email before the retreat is due to begin. In this case, we will enrol you on either a retreat of your choosing or the next available retreat. Monies paid will not be refundable and Yoga Barn - Kampot will not be held liable for any compensation. It is imperative that you check your travel insurance to make sure you have adequate cover for such events. We will only ever do this in the event of an unforeseen emergency such as a natural disaster, injury to the hosts/teachers or a problem with our venue.
In any instance regarding rescheduling, Yoga Barn - Kampot cannot be held responsible for any fees incurred in the rescheduling process. This includes but is not limited to, flights, accommodation, food or transfer/booking fees. Again, it is imperative that you check your travel insurance to make sure you have adequate cover for such events.
Transferring Your Retreat to Another Person (Name Change)
In the event that you cannot attend your retreat for which you have booked, it is possible to transfer it to another person. All you need to do is provide us with the name of the person to whom you wish to transfer your retreat together with full contact details including email address and telephone number. We do not require any notice for this instance but 24 hours would be an acceptable timescale to allow us to prepare. There will be no charge for either parties should a transfer be required.
Please Note: Once the transfer has taken place, the transferee will be bound by the same terms and conditions as the original guest.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation by the guest
In cases of a cancellation by a guest, the following fees per person will be applied. The amount of cancellation fees depends on the number of days of receipt of written cancellation:

Cancellation more than 91 days before start of retreat - 80% of payment refunded (if just a deposit is paid then this deposit is non-refundable)

Cancellation 90 days or less before start of retreat - 40% of payment refunded (if just a deposit is paid then this deposit is non-refundable)

Cancellation 30 days or less before start of retreat - No refund, full or partial, for any reason.

Late arrival for the start or leave the retreat early - No refund, full or partial, for any reason.

No show - No refund, full or partial, for any reason.
No refunds will be made if you fail to start or leave a retreat early for any reason. No refunds will be made for any accommodation, transport, sightseeing, meals or services not utilised. Exceptions to this policy cannot be made for any reason, including weather, personal emergencies or natural disasters. Please note;

Yoga Barn - Kampot is not responsible for expenses incurred in preparation for any cancelled trips, such as airline tickets & transfers from home
We strongly advise guests to have full personal travel insurance that covers for the refund of monies paid in case either party cancels the retreat for any reason. We regret that we cannot be held responsible for incidental/consequential costs or expenses you may incur as a result of any changes or cancellations.
Yoga Barn - Kampot is entitled to pass on additional costs to the guest if charged for by service providers (e.g. fees for unoccupied beds/seats).

Documentation
You must be in possession of a valid passport and all the visas and permits required for your stay in Cambodia. This includes any medical certificates that are required. The guest accepts full responsibility for obtaining any and all such documentation. Every guest is encouraged to contact the consulate/embassy for the countries they are travelling in respectively to receive the latest and most current information about their immigration/transit policies. Yoga Barn - Kampot does not accept responsibility if your documentation is not in order. Information provided by us about these matters and other related items (clothing, baggage, climate etc.) is given in good faith but without responsibility.
Travel Insurance
Yoga Barn - Kampot strongly suggests that all guests take out good travel insurance before joining one of our retreats. There are inherent risks involved and we will not be liable for your medical expenses or evacuation in case of an accident. This insurance should include adequate coverage for any personal accident, medical expenses, injury, death and repatriation. Insurance should also provide coverage for cancellations or curtailment of the retreat. Guests should also ensure that there are no exclusion clauses limiting protection for any dangerous or unusual activities (scuba diving, motorcycle or bicycle riding etc.) that they might participate in either before, during or after the retreat. Guests are solely responsible for arranging their own insurance and they should ensure that they are covered for the full duration of their trip.
In the event that a travel insurance claim has to be made, guests can contact us and we can provide any paper work required by the insurance company including invoices and/or receipts/proof of payment.
Inclusions
The retreats include accommodation, meals, yoga & meditation and anything else mentioned in our listings. All other expenses, such as Visa On Arrival, spending money, flights, airport transfers, other meals, car hire, scooter hire, bicycle hire, other free-time activities, tours etc and limited to the fore mentioned, are at your own expense.
Summary
Our guests must understand that our retreats by their nature involve some risks and dangers and shall assume all responsibility for any bodily injury or property damage as a result of (but not limited to): physical exertion for which a guest is not prepared, forces of nature, travel by plane, train, automobiles including motorcycles, boat or other conveyance, or by bicycle, horseback, foot or other form of active adventure travel, consumption of alcoholic beverages, civil unrest, terrorism, natural disasters, breakdown of equipment, high altitude, lack of or limited access to medical attention in remote locations and the adequacy of medical attention once provided. Guests shall not hold Yoga Barn - Kampot or its personnel responsible, whatsoever, for any injuries, damages, losses or delays neither to persons or property nor for extra costs arising from unforeseen complications for any reasons during the retreat. Yoga Barn - Kampot is also not liable for: expenses (e.g., meals, transportation or hotel costs) that are not specified as included in the retreat cost. Guests grant Yoga Barn - Kampot express permission to take photographs or make film records of its trips for promotional and commercial use. Any images we collect will never be given to third parties. Yoga Barn - Kampot reserves the right to make trip and hotel modifications as necessary to improve the retreat quality or to accommodate the comfort and wellbeing of guests.
Testimonials
All testimonials on this website and on other websites with our listings are from previous guests of Yoga Barn - Kampot, How are you really? Yoga retreats or related yoga/meditation/reiki classes. Some testimonials were solicited in order to get genuine feedback from previous retreat guests. The photographs on this and other related sites were also given with consent. Should a previous guest wish to submit a testimonial or photograph they should state whether they would like their name and country to be omitted from the public domain.
Complaints
If you have any complaint regarding your retreat, you must make it known at the earliest opportunity to one of the hosts and/or the venue staff, who will attempt to resolve your complaint. If at the end of the retreat you feel your complaint has not been properly dealt with you must notify us via email within 7 days of the end of your retreat so we can investigate. We value all feedback from our guests and it is important to resolve problems as and when they occur.
Health, Medical Conditions & Age Limits
To the best of your knowledge, you suffer from no medical or physical condition or disability that will or might increase the normal risks associated with exercise. Some of the classes, particularly Fly-High, can be strenuous. If you suspect you suffer any of the following, please seek medical advice:

heart condition

eye problems, glaucoma etc.
If you are in any doubt, please consult your doctor to gain approval for your participation in our retreat. As well as the Yoga classes we have 2 day trips which involve a certain amount of walking. All our previous guests have not had any problems but again if you have any doubt please consult your doctor & us. Also can you please consult us if you are taking any medication that might have side affects such as drowsiness etc.
You must inform us straight away if:

you feel any pain or discomfort during a yoga class

you feel that any exercise included in our retreat would be unsafe or uncomfortable for you
Please be aware that if you are or think you may be pregnant consult your doctor before traveling because during certain stages of pregnancy it is advisable to refrain from yoga/physical exertion altogether. We may, at our sole discretion prohibit you from participating in any activity (not restricted to yoga) if we feel your health and safety may be in jeopardy. For your own wellbeing, you must comply with all of our instructions in relation to all activities. Your Health & Safety is our utmost concern and because of this we need to be aware of anything that you yourself may be concerned about so we can act accordingly. To prevent avoidable accidents please work with us to ensure the safety of everyone. All activities are undertaken at your own risk; therefore, we cannot be held responsible for any injuries incurred.
Sarah and our teaching staff are fully certified yoga teachers with many years of experience so should a problem arise they will be there to guide you... rest assured you are in safe hands.
We do not have any age limitations but a base line age limit of 16 would be a sensible limit to suggest. We do not provide childcare/crèche facilities for guests' children. If a 16 or 17 year old wishes to join our retreat as a paying participant we must insist on them being accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.
